Hope our city looked as good on TV as it did over the weekend! We had a great time downtown!

    How did Detroit look?
Anyone have any outsider's opinions of how Detroit looked for the Superbowl? Detroit is in the rebirth stage.

I didn't see much of the city, I pretty much just watched the game. But a local sports journalist was being interviewed on the radio here and he said "Detroit is a real city, with a real city's problems. But you could definitely see the effort they are putting into trying to solve the issues they have." I thought that was nicely put praise for Detroit. He was obviously pleasantly surprised by the good things beginning there.

Good to hear. I was very impressed with how the city cleaned up and how "city-like" it felt. We had a great time downtown over the weekend!
