Mike I think you've got something funky going on by the NH's legs. Other than that they look real good. How do you like the TC?

Thanks Nick. I shouldn't mess with things in PS. I was doing a bit of healing tool and doddging to remove a few hints of some power lines. I can't see the problem ...but am sure there is something funky there....since that's where I was "messin'". I can't see stuff in the light blue sky. I use some extreme contrast/brightness to see any variations in color. I then try and remember where the "mess" is and "undo" the contrast ..then try and fix the issues. I obviously missed the "trouble". I also tried to get rid of some sensor smudges. Grrrrr. PP is the most annoying thing for me. Grrrr I need to find someone to do my PS work. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:D

I picked up the Canon TC. I like it. It's pretty sweet. I've attached it to the Canon 200mm f/2.8 for these shots. I don't really notice any auto-focus speed/accuracy loss. Image quality is excellent. There may be some slight loss if you shoot in low light situations ...wide open. OUtside in the sunlight. No problems ....that I can see.

    Cheers

I was going to ask you about that in the ibis picture, there's a lot of strange stuff in the sky and power lines was my first impression.

Nice shots though, I'm sure you'll get a ton at the shoot!

Thanks for looking. I think there were power lines in the ibis shot also. The ibis and night heron shots were out in my back yard. I wish the houses and power lines were not there. It's pretty difficult to shoot BIF without hitting a darn line. Grrrrrr. I'll need to go back and rework these. I need to get a move on. The wild wild bird shoot bus leaves at 3:00 a.m. I've still got to pack and do dishes. eek7.gifrolleyes1.gif Good thing I'm still much younger than Harry. umph.gif

Looks like you're ready Mike. The good news is that there are no power lines where we are shooting. :D
