Great series again Steve. The first Yellowrumped Warbler is really nice. How did you manage to get so close?

Thanks Al. The Yellow-rumped Warblers were in a Nature Conservance garden so they were pretty used to people, so I didn't have too hard of a time getting close.

Great exposure on the Raven. The detail is superb. I've been trying to get a good shot of some big crows in our yard, and it ain't easy. Any idea how much EC you used? Did you post process much? Thanks.

Thank you Joel. I shot those with no EC. I've found the best way to shoot black birds, or even birds with very contrasting colors like Magpies (for me anway) is to try and have the sun at your back so that the bird (or at least the dark portions of the bird) have direct lighting from the sun. Best earlier or later in the day so the sun isn't too bright. I usually shoot them with either -1/3 to +1/3 depending on the other colors in the bird and the light.

I did PP these in LAB because the sky was pretty bland, so I tried to get the sky a bit bluer.
