No choice with the clipped wing here as I had no more lens to pull back. He whooshed by just above head height and I was lucky to get this much.

    It is a nice lens. I am wanting some bigger glass (my original plan was a 50-500 bigma) and now I am saving the fun tickets again for the next purchase...whenever that is ne_nau.gif
    I was thinking of getting a spotting scope with a camera adaptor also, but am not sold on this option. It would be useful in some places around here as the birds are a long way off but the lack of focus and zoom controls are keeping me from doing it...probably a good thing too :):
