Which exit for the hill above the Golden Gate Bridge?

Last year, during the Yosemite event, we spent a day in SF. Nikolai skillfully guided us to a hill overlooking the GG bridge from the San Rafael side. I can't remember the name of the exit.

Anyone know it?

I'll be back there next week and want to park my butt in hopes of getting a good sunset.

Here's the vista from that location.

Which way will you be coming? From the North or South?

You were standing off of Conzelman Road. If you're headed North
(from SF), take the Sausalito exit then the first left and then left
again. That will take you to the headlands. If you are coming from
the Marin Side, take the last exit before you cross the bridge and
    head up the hill.

Once you get there, make sure you try various points along the road. The perspectives change quite a bit, so you can get a variety of great shots. Yeah, there must be millions of pics of the GGB out there, but it is just so damn beautiful that it is hard to resist.

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
thumb.gif Last time we were there, we went all the way up to the old fort and worked our way down. The ceiling was really low, so most options were obscured by clouds. This last one became my favorite.

thumb.gif That's incredibly helpful, thanks Dee. I like the idea of assembling shots from the different vantage points.

I'd be happy if I got this one.
