I especially like the peace of the first one.
my words, my "pro"pictures, my "fun" pictures, my videos.
It's been years since I've been in Maine, your photos make me want to go back. I've got friends in Kennebunkport. Isn't amazing how the water isn't frozen yet? I bet we're going to get hit hard this March!

Lobster boats, specific to the northeast coast of North America. Do a search on Maine Lobster Boat Races for a little peak into the Maine coastal culture.
One of the races is in this harbor:
Stonington
I don't go back much in the winter but it is very nice to ramble about without the din of thousands of tourists.
This is a sunrise on York Beach, the object in the photo is Boon Island Light and it is 9 miles off shore. Some unique history and a little article about it at this site. http://lighthousegetaway.com/lights/boon.html It is 137 feet tall.
