    It's been years since I've been in Maine, your photos make me want to go back. I've got friends in Kennebunkport. Isn't amazing how the water isn't frozen yet? I bet we're going to get hit hard this March!

    Lobster boats, specific to the northeast coast of North America. Do a search on Maine Lobster Boat Races for a little peak into the Maine coastal culture.

    I don't go back much in the winter but it is very nice to ramble about without the din of thousands of tourists.

    This is a sunrise on York Beach, the object in the photo is Boon Island Light and it is 9 miles off shore. Some unique history and a little article about it at this site. http://lighthousegetaway.com/lights/boon.html It is 137 feet tall.

    Great shots. The first one is very nice, the boats are great.
