We're getting hammered here in the storm of the decade. Up to two feet of snow expected. Looked out the window and much to my suprise saw these two deer nuzzling up against each other. I guess they're out just enjoying the snow. There are slim pickings on a day like this.

    Dark Eyed Junco
    021206.jpg

The juncos are doing a good job of weathering the near-blizzard conditions here in Rhode Island. The snow is blowing pretty hard so it is hard to capture as anything more than degraded contrast.

The birds in my backyard are enjoying the snow
Took these through the window of my sunroom. We have 22 inches so far in Northern New Jersey...just outside NYC.

Thanks Thusie. I'm not very nice rubbing in the Florida weather on those poor snow birds that are freezing their tale feathers off. :D

Psh, temps went up seventy degrees and it RAINED here, and our two feet of snow melted in two days. Ah well, it's not the first time it's happened this winter.ne_nau.gif
