Interesting Barns & Noble experience

Yesterday I went down to Barn & Noble to have a cup of coffe and read a few photo mags.
While I was there they had great (what I thought was recorded music) playing. As I was leaving I discovered the singing was live.
I stopped listened and watched for awhile. What a fantastic voice! Yet when the young lady spoke you could tell she was very young (turns out she is only 13).
She is touring and promoting her first CD. Yes I bought one. I really hope she isn't being taken advantage of. She has a great gift.
Listen for yourself. Holly Stell

I noticed it a lot in botswana if you walked into a shop (in the rural areas) & i often though they had CD's on until you realise they dont have electricity...if you mention the singing to them they get very shy so you have to pretend to browse & listen.
On the farm i was staying at i would go outside at night & i could hear the farm workers (zimbabweans) in their tin huts singing off in the dark...i just wish i could have gone up & sat with them at their fire (200 yards away) but it wasnt allowed by the white owners & i had to respect that as much as i hated to.
