Hi all,

Just got home from a long weekend camping trip with the family. Something the wife and I said we would do when the kids got older. Well, it took us a little longer than planned as the kids are now 13, 11 and 9. Here are a couple of shots from the weekend.

First off, erecting the new tent and establishing the camp site.

Waking in the morning after a night of rain.

Checking out a couple of the local attractions on offer. First is Cape Raoul along the South Coast of Tasmania.

Second is Safety Cove.

Then of course all the kids wanted to do was play on the beach. But who am I to complain, gave me the perfect excuse to just sit and watch.

Then there was the family who were down the beach a fair way, think they had the right idea of entertaining the kids :D

With the obvious results.

One last photo, why is it boys just love to dig holes in the sand...lolol :rofl

    Cheers Gubbs,

I agree it does appear over sharpened. I am in the process of revising my workflow and trying a couple of new things.

    Thanks for the comments.

Superb pictures, very smooth. Were they taken with your 350D?

    I especially like this one:

    Hi there Frogwell,

Thanks for the comments. Yep, all were taken with the 350D and a combination of the 28-135 IS USM and sigma 50-500mm lenses.
    Cheers
