Nice shots. These types of shots are very difficult to get. I just got my 100-400 lens and I'm itchin' to find some critters to shoot. I agree with Greaper that #2 might be a little oversharpened. You might try sharpening the L channel only. I haven't done this yet, but I believe Rutt posted something about this method. There is a new FM sharpening plugin that is supposed to be good, but I haven't tried it out yet.
