Wow, that's big. I hardly even see the boat. How about "Mostly Metal"? Or, "David and Goliath"? That's a very interesting bridge. When was it built?
That is a vertical lift train bridge. It spans the Cape Cod Canal. Started in 1933, finished in 1935. They just finished a huge restoration on it. They replaced a lot of the metal parts, new rivets, fresh paint, replaced the control panel, refurbished the giant cable wheels that are housed in the little gables up top and replaced the electric lift motors. All that and the only train that uses anymore is a daily garbage train. Hopefully, some day, a passenger train will use it again. It's quite a site to see that bridge move.
