I had a great time shooting with Harry and the rest of the folks at the MI3 Florida shoot. Despite having about 100 images corrupted by a new faulty portable hard drive, I ended up with a few shots. I'll be post processing for a good long time. I have not had much time to PP, but here are a few I worked up. I figured Harry has not seen a Night Heron in a while. :D

IIRC these were taken at Gatorland in Orlando. WHat a neat place that was. Thanks again for setting this all up Harry.

The warm up shot taken in the backyard the day before the "adventure" :D

I would have had more "bird" shots...but this fella ate them. :rofl

I'll post another batch when I finish PP them. Thanks for looking

(just added some shots on 2nd page of this post)

Cheers

    Hey Mike,

Excellent series, I really like the gator shot. Sorry about your technical problems. We will just have to get you over to here again and redo those shots. :D

Great shots Mike! I hope you didn't lose too many good ones. It was a pleasure shooting with you, and I hope to shoot with you many times in the future! Sometime after I have some equipment I'll have to come over and you can show me the area where you live!

    Thanks guys.....I appreciate it.

Harry, I'd love to come back over and try and recreate the damaged shots. umph.gif:D I'd also like another shot at some eagles, hawks and caracaras. Didn't see them dudes.

Steve, Yeah...that wind was messin' with Romeo's doo. I offered him some hair spray...but he said he likes it blowing in his face. rolleyes1.gif

Jeff, I hope I can get back over to the "Space Coast" and shoot with Harry. Really liked "Gatorland" in Orlando. Would also like to hit Orlando wetlands and St. Augustine wetlands, etc. I had a bad feeling about the new portable hard drive. I just had that awful feeling things were not working as I copied the files to the unit. There is no monitor...so you just get a percentage downloaded confirmation. I had no way of knowing things were fowl...until I got home to view on the 'puter. ahhhh too bad. I lost about 100 shots .

Wendell, Enjoyed shooting with you as well. You are welcome down here anytime. Mike and I will take you around and show you the shooting sites in the area. We can also go out in the boat and chase some osperys, pelicans, sharks and dolphins.

    Cheers
