Hello,

What does everyone use for their carry it all backpack. It needs to hold a 300/2.8 IS or 400mm. In addition to either lens, I would like to carry 1-2 bodies, 28-70, 70-200, 3-4 primes, strobes, tc's and other stuff and have room for rain gear and be able to carry a big tripod or monopod.

I am staring down a Lowepro Road Runner AW right now. I like the wheels and the extra backpack.

The one rule is it must be allowed on airplanes.

Thx
Bob

I currently use a LowePro PRO Trekker (it showed carry on ok in july of 2003 but is not showing that now...hmmm) AW and I believe that for LowePro that is the largest carry on avail....I will know before long as I am taking it to Airport on the weekend to see if it still fits their measureing boxes. It did in 2003 but I have already seen changes in policies since then. So since I live just a couple of miles I am going to take it there and drop it in.

That bag is huge, I carried 2 Kiev 88 a Nikon F70 lens and tc's and extension tubes to the Czech Republic in 2003...with everything packed in it I just barely made the carry on limit for Delta and still ahd to have it stowed in baggage out of Wichita to Cleveland.....Damn commuter jets.
