I couldn't stay cooped up any longer after the knee replacement surgery so when I saw there was snow coming to the Smoky Mountains off I went. What a way to celebrate 5 and a half weeks post op. :D

I got here and had to wait 3 and a half days to get into Cades Cove. They had everything closed down, but I was patient. I've just started processing these and will finish them when I get home tomorrow. When they are done they will all be in the following gallery - Great Smoky Mountains in the Winter. I've already put in a few in the gallery to seed it.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, Mesa. It was 28º F that day and reached a high of about 30º. Then the next day the temp went up to almost 60º and most of the snow was gone by mid-afternoon.
