    I miss the summer foliage and taking IRs.

    I like the cropped version of the 2nd pic.

    The pics look a little grainy. Was this intentional or is it a result of the IR setup you are using?

    just started on this and looking forward to some green-

    grain is not intentional, although I do like some grain at times-

    I am using a nikon coolpix 8800 with a hoya ir 72 filter for this-maybe 400iso and extended (.5 and 1.0 seconds on these two shots) exposure times?--

    right now, I feel like I'm doing good getting something out-

    Hi, I was wondering if your nikon has an infrared mode like the sony's? They turned out pretty darn good!
    I'll be different and like the non cropped one...;~)

    as far as I know, no ir mode--but supposedly ir compatible?--
