Whats the scoop with lexar Platinum

Are they any good I saw a 1gb card on ebay cheap.

    I guess the real question would be if the Canon 20D (your camera) really needed anything faster than the Lexar 40x card. I will say that my most used card currently is an old Lexar 40x and I've never had any problems with it. I also have the newer 80x (1 and 2GB) and see no difference in write times but then again I am using a very old DSLR.

    There are plenty of 20D owners here. I'm sure you'll get a reply.
