I got a call today from one of the guys in the shop saying, "if you keen, I have one in front of me..."

My D200 is in my hands...:clap :clap :clap
Got it with the 19-70mm lens.

Now, where in the instruction manual does it have the "take good photo's button"?

Speaking of which, the manual is nice and think. Gonna spend many hours on "the Throne" reading...
Cheers,

    Dam,

I bought it in Harrods, whom I work for (DBA) and got chatting to the guy.
They have a Nikon 600mm f2.8. What a lovely piece glass.
It was attached to a D100. I have to say, the lens is a lot lighter than I thought it would be. Not exactly going to hand hold it for a while but is not stupidly heavy.

There was a split second I thought "Should I just try. Maybe the credit card company will be nice" but alas, the price was £6320 (About $12k?)

Oh well, thanks guys... Off to play tonight.clap.gif

Sorry, that button is exclusive to Canon :D (Just kidding).

Congrats on the new body and glass thumb.gif Be sure to post some shots!

    1. Congratulations! I've pretty much got every lens I want but two. I've got three DSLR's. I have no need for a new body but the D200 is just so tempting!
    2. Instead of the "Throne" I call it my "Office." I even have a magazine rack in my office now.

Umm, you want me arested?? :uhoh
I don't have kids, so going close up (or pointing a really long zoom) at kids in a school will get me thrown into a small room with a guy called Babbaumph.gif

Pets: The same will happen when the SPCA or police wonder why I am stalking other people's dogs and cats. (Yummy:D )

I will have something to show after the weekend.clap.gif
