    That is my old long lens: the 400mm F 5.6L

    I didn't really want to use it, but I kind of have to to shoot birds here in the Carolinas. That photo was cropped, but not a lot. I was kind of surprised at how easily it came back: to follow a bird in flight.

    Nice capture Ginger. Did you know that that lens you used is Arthur Morris's (www.birdsasart.com) favorite lens? A quote from his book.

    Art Morris calls the 400 f5.6 his "toy" lens - small, light, easily handled and sharp as a razor. Very nice BIF, Ginger!!
