Great shots Ben! You could really tell it was windy from these shots. The Kestrel is great, the little bit of blur on the right of the post even makes it look like the post is blowing away. I got to see my first Kestrel at Vierra and I give you guys a lot of credit for captureing them in photos. My shots of them all look like they could be a little bit of sensor dust.

Nice series Ben. Is the sky the background on the last one? The little bit of shadow to the right of the post he's on looks odd. or is it a wall or something?

That is cool, Ben! Reallly love those. In that kind of wind, my birds have hidey holes. Don't know that I have seen them sit on poles. Your birds must have been very hungry!!!!

I love it when they can't fly and just sit up there waiting for my "old" lens to focus and all! That is if I can stand up myself that long.

love those shots. I think my favorite is the last one, don't know why.

Looks like a productive outing. Glad you had a chance to shoot and to get away from the "W" thing.

Hey Nick glad to see ya here
Yeah I got down low so sky would be only background, got lucky with sun to my back. I can only guess that it is dirt or dust blowing off backside of pole. When I 1st saw it on screen I thought it looked kinda setup ne_nau.gif:D

Oh, I'll take the credit anyway I can get it thumb.gif :lol

    Hey Michael
so glad to see your comment.
As I metioned to Nick I did kneel a bit so sky would be only background and Jeff and I are thinking thats the top of a plant that's blowing and not dust ne_nau.gif
