Shot done today of some flowers I got the Wife for Valentines Day.
Crystal Glass Schmid Vase.....Red food coloring in water.

Still life done in my light tent.
Sigma 28-70mm f2.8-4 used......no flash!

    Well when it's 5°f outside with a wind chill of -12°f you find other ways to enjoy taking pics without freezing your hinny off! :giggle

    its a good shot n all.. the lighting, focus all that other stuff, but i gotta say the picture itself is doing nothing for me.. lol maybe im totally missing the point of this though.. jamie

    Tip when shooting flowers well a tip in general really. Always have an odd number of flowers. Take a close look @ any floral or window display always an odd number & always in a triangle form.

    Is the background white? Or are you using a tinted one?

    Also the flowers should probably have longer stems or a shorter vase?

    Well, it's mid March, this cold old winter weather can't last too much longer can it? Wishing warmer weather your way.
