RAW and Settings

As I dive more into RAW photography on my Digital Rebel, does the Parameters menu option even mean anything in RAW photography anymore? When shooting JPG I usually choose "Parameter 1", which puts in a little sharpening and a little saturation. I've been very happy with those results. But if RAW is the data off the sensor does the parameter setting have any influence anymore?

I know the white balance setting still affects the default image off the sensor.

Thanks.

If I recall the manual correctly, then no, it doesn't do much in RAW anymore sicne you can manipulate those exact same settings in post-processing.
