i'm getting ready to order a flash and a 70-200 f4 from B&H, and i was wondering if buying it Imported for just 10 bucks less *together 20, the price of shipping* really makes that much difference if something goes wrong with it:dunno

thanks,

Daniel

It's not worth the no warranty just to save 10 bucks...

When you ship an item to the Canon Factory Service Center in Jamesburg New Jersey, they specifically ask for the US warranty card. Don't ask me how I know:D

I suspect the resale value is decresed without the warranty card also - would be if I was the purchaser.

It is nice to know that the Canon Service Center is easily accessed. That definitely increases the value of your OEM gear - at least to me.
