My sexy new camera! I have a large glass domed light fixture that works perfectly as a mini-studio. That's a Nikkor 20mm f2.8 lens by the way. I shot this with my D70.

    It's not just you. If someone were to offer me a pro camera that had exactly the same functions and specs...but only the appearance was different - I'd take the camera that looked like the D200 as opposed to the D2x. Same goes for any of the other pro cameras with the portrait grip. I just don't think the grip makes cameras look better. However, that's just an appearance issue and of course has nothing at all to do with performance :)
