Did you go in because of a specific back releated problem or was this found during a normal exam?

    I found this:

So likely you won't notice much of the disease at all. Let's hope you have the least extensive form of it, which is the most likely case!
I can't grasp the notion of time.

    in two billion years,
    all I can think is:
"Will that be on a Monday?"

my back has been hurting me for the past few months... on occassion to the point where i can't move or else i'm in searing pain... so we figured i should go get an X-ray or something... i've missed a total of 4 days of school here in the past 2 weeks because of back-related pain...

    :uhoh so yeah...

we'll see how this turns out.

Daniel, I'm not in the medical field at all but have a buddy who is, so I sent him an email. He says
    see this:

    and this

    http://www.emedicinehealth.com/articles/34669-1.asp

It's fixable. May need surgery, but guys like Tom Negrino were born with their spinal cords hanging out of their body and do fine after surgical correction. Outlook is very good with an experienced surgeon (if surgery is necessary).
I hope that helps at least somewhat.
