"W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G"

[Just for the record: This pic below can seem a little intrusive, but I assure you, he didn't see me and my activity and he is sheltering his face from the harsh sunlight.]
PS: Is it me, or does that "something" (a peace of his jacket I guess) on the bench to HIS right (left in pic) look like a dead dog with wide open jaws? Or an Anaconda..... Oh boy, I better get stick do "decaff" from now on! ;o)

Just stunning. Some of the titles actually almost distracted me from looking at them. They're very nice in monochrome. Anything special in the post processing?

Thank you, Scott! Well, no big secrets! Made them B/W using the channel mixer, then added toning to the shadows using the "Color Balance". (A little differently in every pic as you see) and no toning on the last. Boosted contrasts using Curves and added some USM. That's it! :):

Love the shots. I like the smoked one, and the dimensional desire.
I do like the normal black and white better though then the others.
They appeal to me, but they would appeal even more in black and white tout court. Great studies of people...

Thank you! Hmm... yes. I think it's easier to get "fed up" with sepias/split tones compare to monos. I guess I'm in a "split tone"-phase, and I do it to often and to much, to heavy toning. Split tones are oftenly best when it's applied very very gentle. But it's easy to get carried away. ne_nau.gif

Those are great shots, someday I'm going to have to take the time to get shots like these. I've always loved candid shots of strangers. Good job.

I like the mannequin looking out the window at the child, but mostly I feel like I'm spying, they're not personal.
