This was last weeks shots, this weeks aren't out yet but I made it in the top 12!!! Last year they had over 3000 entrys have no clue how many this year will have. Did the Sid crop on this one THANKS SID:thumb On the right click on best first week photos.

Yes I have a couple other conifer 'bloom' shots. How did I pick? Well lots had to do with how the folks on Dgrin saw them and Don.
To be honest Don is te reason I'm in the contest in the first place. He came home on day with the clipping out of the paper and said here ya go. I said are you NUTS? Nope get on it, you have some pretty good stuff.

Thank you much Andy and Sid. You need to actually win a week to win a prize and that would be nice, but making honorable mention the first week suits me just fine.

A star is born! Congratulations! Something for me to aspire to. I always hang those entries on my wall at work trying to force myself to get out and shoot, but so far haven't entered any! You're making me think I should "just do it".

Hardly a star, and thanks:-) And yea just do it Easy for me to say since Don was not going to let off of it..hum reminds me of someone oh yea SID, until I entered.

Thank you all hugely much. You know I almost burst into tears when I saw that shot even made it into the 'best of the week' seclection, silly I know

I have until Sunday to enter for the final week, they already have my best shot to date,( and that was it), but who knows maybe I'll get lucky before Sunday. I won't win this but 2 honorable mentions would be smashing. Yea, yea getting greedy:D
