Pass a Password in a URL

Anyone know a way to pass a user id and password in a URL? We want to use SmugMug for our Boy Scout troop's photos, and we want to link to it from our Web site. We don't want people to have to enter a user id and password for SmugMug because they already did that to enter the troop Web site. These people need to be able to create galleries, upload pictures, order prints, order DVDs, etc.
