It's been awhile since Ive posted..... been on and off sick,
today was my 1st day with the cam in three weeks!
I was happy to get a jay

    1st of all you are very kind with your comments...
    i used the canon 400 mm f/5.6 and it was very sunny. i shot RAW. I was standing about 15 feet away. I knew that "eventually" the Jay would land there - i waited about 1 hour after i recognized its call. I used the burst mode to make sure i captured at least one good image.....
    most of all i prayed before pressing the shutter...
