Andy Williams, aka Doctor Doolittle...

Today, for the first time, I had the pleasure of meeting (in person) Smugmug and Dgrin House Pro Andy Williams. We met for a short while early this morning at Croton where I was searching for eagles and Andy for a good place to buy bagels.

However, knowing that Andy is not, shall we say, in Harry's class when it comes to avian pursuits, I was floored when seemingly upon a gutteral command from Andy, the geese cooperatively composed the following:

Now, being that Andy had to buy some bagels and get back to an under the weather child, I really can't fault him for missing the Northern Harrier...

Or the juvenile bald eagle soaring above....

or the raucous geese touching down (what else do you shoot while waiting for eagles?)...

Anyway, Andy - thanks for stopping by - it was great to meet you after all this while - and I really appreciate your getting the word out to the hawks, eagles, and waterfowl that I was on the way...What a guy!!!

    clap.gif Keith you had a stellar day! These are nice. I especially like the last shot from behind of the 3 geese. Beautiful color - would look awesome framed. And the shot of Andy sporting a halo of geese is pretty cool!

    Hey Keith,

    Not surprising that Andy was looking for food. He's pretty much like the birds, always on the hunt for food. I'm surprised he has time to ever take a picture. rolleyes1.gif

    Harry...
    Andy kept complaining - something about "why do i have to go florida and spend time with that &*$#%@!! - but I have absolutely no idea who he could have been talking about.

    My suggestion - map out the bagel stores now, while you have a chance, and avoid the prospect of Andy gnawing on the furniture...
