    Why the blur?
    There's apparently so much pixel data in the original 2MP picture that I had to chop it down to fit into the grin-constrained 140k jpeg size. In this case, it resulted in am image substantially less than the 800 by 600 I can usually get away with.

    Sometimes you lose more than size--at least that's how it appears to me.
