Love it, except for the pinkish hue... was that on purpose, or maybe it's just my monitor...

    Cheers,

I agree, welcome and great 1st post!
You definitely caught great rough textures throughout. I might be interested to see a tight crop on just the boat, especially around the damaged area.
Love to dream, and dream in color.

The pink hue was supposed to be very very subtle. Does it seem overwhelming to others?

I'll see what I can come up with on this. Thanks for the suggestion.

Awesome shot, Ovis! Even better, since it's your first go at it! So, when are we going to see it become *official*? Cheers, ~Nee :)

The pink is subtle--perhaps too subtle?

    .

Not overwhelming, but it's the last color I would choose to enhance a sense of roughness.

I think it would look rougher in B&W, sans color.

I also think that more work in curves on the contrast could enhance the roughness.

Thank you for the additional feedback. Upon advice of some of you I nixed the pink hue. I tweaked the contrast a bit more and removed a couple distracters from the pic.
