Both from the same photo, just different crops. I can't decide which I like better. Also, I can't decide if I like it black and white better than color. I think I'm favoring the color more right now though.

Of the two shots, I like the second one in color the best. I would recrop and not cut off the finger at the corner. Somehow it just doesn't look right with the finger pointing at the palm. Maybe a shot from above with your fingers folded on to your palm showing more rough fingers and the rough palm.

Great job! Not only do you capture the rough texture of the fingers/hand...but it totally tells the story of the rough work that made those hands look that way. I love it!
