Brand Spanking New....
Well I just recently started my change over to a smugmug account, and registered here today. I thought I may as well jump in and get my feet wet...or drownd:D .
Here is a shot of a Bald Eagle I took today. These guys are not that easy to find in my part of the country, and getting close is even harder. This was taken with my Canon 20D, 70-200 f2.8L with 2x teleconverter......then cropped! I dream of the day I can get this close of a shot without cropping! I hope this went well......

Welcome to Dgrin. You're off to a good start with an eagle shot no less. Any eagle shot is a good shot. They are not an easy capture especially with a 70-200.
They are also a very tough exposure with that white head and dark body. You blew out the white head a tad on this shot.
Looking forward to seeing more of your shots.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Thanks for the reply Harryb,
It's nice to be here. The picture looks worse here than it does on the original. I think some of that is due to the quality loss when I resized it, I'll go bigger next time.
I checked out some of your stuff, very nice.
I hope to have some of my stuff on-line pretty soon, although motocross photography has been my mainstay for the last couple of years.
