Green Heron, Grebe and a Kingfisher
These are from MI3 at Vierra Wetlands. I think one of my favorite birds to shoot at Vierra were the Green Herons. They sit so still and then all of a sudden bam, they stick their necks out and grab a fish. They are to fast for me to get a flip from but I did get a good neck stretch.

These guys were pretty common but I wish I had been able to get one with a fish in it's mouth. I saw one but wasn't fast enough to capture it.

I'm happy that I was able to get a decent Kingfisher shot to. It seems they would wait till the second before I got my camera up and then fly off laughing, evil evil birds.

And finally a Glossy Ibis. In the right light they really shine.

Comments and Critique welcome. Let me know if you think I over saturated or under exposed these. Thanks!

I love seeing Kingfishers. Can't get close to them, either, and they are so tiny.

Nice series. The grebe and green heron shots were very good.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
