Couple from Sebastian Inlet

Sebastian Inlet was just full of Pelicans and had a bunch of Wood Storks hanging out waiting for a free lunch. When it came to food the storks got a little agressive sometimes, but the rest of the time they couldn't have cared less.

There was an Osprey that if I had my hand out the window driving over the bridge I could have touched but never came too close to us once we had parked. This is already cropped.

Finally here are a couple Brown Pelicans just chillin.

This little Snowy was gorging itself on minnows that were caught in the current.

I had really forgotten how sharp the 300mm f/4 IS was. I was pleasantly surprised when I was processing these. Hope you like them. Comments and Critique always welcome.

Thanks everyone. I've just begun going through the Sebastian Inlet shots I took so I'm sure you'll see some Pelicans in flight in the next couple of days.

Excellent Nick. I really wanted a good Stork, but found the exposure very tricky. Your's is right on, and the Pelican detail is perfect. You found the key.

Dallas coming from you that means a lot, thanks! I have to admit that I did blow the details a little bit but shooting RAW let me fix the exposure in post. I agree that getting a good shot of the Wood Storks was hard, I didn't really get any shots I thought were that interesting, but I am happy with what I got.
