okay, so far i've only learned how to post-process in RGB.. and i did a search for LAB because i wanted to know how to do it...

i came across rutt's thread "Lab Color: chapter 1" http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=18308&highlight=LAB

and i'm sure i would find it really helpful, if only i knew how to convert my image to LAB!:lol3

can anyone help me out? i know this is most likely the dumbest PS question you've recieved in a longggg time.

thanks,
Daniel

This movie is 4 years older than me and I've seen it.
This movie is 17 years older than me and I've seen it.
This movie is 35 years older than me and I've seen it too.

Saaaay, how can N by NW be both 4 years and 17 years older than you? You have a Tardis or something? deal.gif

    Fast Times is a classic.

The ability to point out Spicoli (Sean Penn), the quotes, the funny scenes, Judge Reynold. And lets not forget about the simmingpool scene.

But then again, Daniel is not nearly old enough for that movie rolleyes1.gif

    XO,
Well if you feel that way, then Porky's belongs in the Hollywood Hall of Fame too. lol3.gif

    You mean it isn't headscratch.gif

While this is neither the time nor place to discuss this, I will take the bait. FTRH is much more a classic than Porky's or Revenge of the Nerds. The clever jokes, the serious topics, the coming of age.

Things with Spicoli and Mr Hand, ordering pizza in class. The whole surfer image/style. And look at the cast, and what they went on to do:
Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Phoebe Cates, Forrest Whitaker, Judge Reynolds, Nicolas Cage. Written by Cameron Crowe.

No I would have to say FTRH is a classic.

    XO,

ps. is bad taste better than having no taste at all rolleyes1.gif

Maybe take a step back and try my LAB pop tutorial instead of jumping into the reading group threads. I tried as hard as possible to make this as accessible. That is pretty different from the goal of the reading group threads which were intended to support people who are actually trying to read the whole book and understand it.
    If not now, when?
