Mirror Mirror.......

......on the van. Who's the fairest bird of all? :dunno :scratch :D

Nothing too great...but pretty funny. I'd like to reshoot these in better light. The neighbor parks his van after work (sunset) and this cardinal comes and plays in the window/mirror. Sometimes it attacks the mirror...other times it poses. I shot these at ISO 1600 in the shadows ...so a bit noisey. Really pushed them in PS also. They were also cropped as this little lady wouldn't let me get close without flying off. Will try again with a tripod and hopefully catch her during the day.

Cheers

Some other itty bitty bird I shot that flew by. (where's the 500mm when you need it?)

I love the two in the car!!! Very cool catch!

The others are good, too. I found a bird at his nest today. Right out here where I park my car. I got ONE picture of him. Had to get the 400 on, slowly, quietly and carefully. I did get one, but I didn't work it up.

I have hopes, a whole nest!!! And it will be surrounded by leaves in a bit, too.

Thanks Steve, Nick, Ginger and William. Appreciate you taking a looksee and commenting.

Steve...don't let that lens hit you in the head...on the way out. rolleyes1.gif

This little lady was back yesterday. I snapped a few more..but the lighting was even worse than originally. I'm thinking a "staged" day shot is in order. I'll have to find a cute chic to park her red cabriolet in the driveway when the lights right. :D
