That guy has some great pics, excellent color and eye.

I always like to stop into the local galleries and see what they have hanging on their walls. It's a great way to get ideas for local shots. They often help give me ideas or see the same spot but through someone else's eyes, which is what photography is all about.

Now that we know what's around Gus your bar has just been set higherrolleyes1.gif

Gorgeous work. Now, if that doesn't say something about waiting for the best light, nothing does. Good use of filters too, I reckon.

    Gus,

Great site. Film, some kind of starnge alchemy process practiced by a few chemically contaminated fanatics. Who knew that was still going on?

Now if we could just get you guys to use inches instead of centi, milly, quad meters like God intended I could figure out how big the prints are! :D

I was checking out Tony Bee's site for equipment and dont see anything listed. Do you think that is 35mm or MF? Those pans dont show the distortion of 35mm lenses. Either way I wish I could get those kinds of color in digital.

Oh those new england shots are so close to me! Those balancing rocks i have been to many times. Gostwyk Chapel is about 20 minutes from here, and as soon as the leaves start turning in the next few weeks I'm planning a drive out there. Some of these are really really nice, and really proves its all about the light. Thanks for that Gus.

That New England granite is all mine RM ok...they are shot from the road atually (i asked)

Those poplar trees are a dead give away for your area. Bet you could get some great fog shots in winter.

Hey if it's granite you want I can show you around....There's a few places about 30k's east of here where you head down into the gorge and its all just granite.

Yeah I thought that shot was from the road because I have seen them so many times it had to be by a roadside.

Sometimes the fog in winter is wonderful....If you dare to venture out at sunrise when it is about -7, which I don't do often....lol. Sometimes if you are near a gorge, it spills over the edge and creeps along the ground and looks very scary.
