Anyone who has shot a game from the close up photo positions knows that officals can make shooting challenging. No sports more so than basketball....if you sit along the baseline you are bound to get some "ref butt" shots. Or at least for me today, I was sitting close to the basketball because I am geting fustrated with my zooms not giving me the quality I want so I shot most of the game with my 50 ( I know crazy huh....)

Anyways.
Never in a 100 years could i make this shot again....

I was tracking a players movement with the ball and was waiting for a nice open shot of him and when I clicked I got this.....

Ref butt......+ shoe in the one area that isnt ref.

Ok I dont know if you guys are laughing at this....but me and the other photograhpers thought it was funny....and well I am still laughing.

Good thing you were using the lower right focus point lol3.gif

I am amazed that the butt didn't come out sharp and the shoe blurry ne_nau.gif Must be the skill of the shooter ;-)

I get shoulders, heads and hands. Never got a ref butt though :cry
