Canon EOS 10D, shot 2006:02:24 19:09

Exposure mode: Manual, Flash: Off, Metering mode: Evaluative
Lens: 70 to 200mm, Focal length: 117mm, AF mode: AI Servo AF

I think I'm better off without the flash. Other shots from the same night, with the flash, don't look anywhere near as good.

Looks good Steven. And, without the flash you won't have to worry about the players looking like zombies with glowing eyes. You may want to bump up your shutter speed a bit. When using my 70-200 under high school stadium lights I set my 20D to Tv mode with a speed of 1/320 second. You will probably have to bump up your ISO to 1600 to do so, but it will help freeze the action and cut down on motion motion blur in your longer telephoto shots. Remember the 1 to 1 rule (200mm lens needs at least 1/200 second).
