Aside from Smugmug's compression killing the background quality, I think this came out quite nicely. 20D + 50/1.4 by the front door this afternoon. Does his skin look ok color-wise?

As always, the eyes of a child make for a heart-tugging shot! The shallow depth of field really accentuate those baby blues! Nice. The skin tones are perfect, to me.

Thanks all. Being colorblind, I have to go by the numbers, and I'm just starting to get comfortable doing so. That, and shooting in RAW helps.
