Way cool Dallas. Two more fine shots. clap.gif I would try to bring out some shadow detail in that second shot.

Another set of winners. Way to shoot 'em, Dallas. Well done. thumb.gifthumb.gif

No eagles today. Had to do some shopping. I did get some chickens though. Well..the breasts anyway. .99/lb. Stocked up with about 35 breasts. 'bout a pound each. They were Dolly Pardon sized. I guess you could say I like my breasts. :uhoh :):

I love the feathers in #1. But, my favorite is still the fight shot with the dirt flying in the other post. Please say you sent it to KPOTD.

I agree Harry, but I'm not skillful enough to do that without messing up the other colors. I promise to learn though. Thanks for the passing grade.

Thanks Daniel, I agree. The first was always my choice, mainly because I didn't have to do anything to it right out of the camera. Maybe I'm beginning to learn how to use my D70s.

The fight was fascinating, and I would send it to KPOTD if I knew what that means. Can you please explain for me? Thanks very much.

Thank you Steve, I appreciate your good comments. I'm going to take Harry's advice and try to bring out more detail on the wings of the second one, and hope to improve the photo. It'll be a good PS learning experience

Don't know if anyone has. Stands for Kodak Photo Of THe Day. Go to kodak.com, and you can find it. Goes up on Times square, people can tell you. Big deal. Andy has a bunch, I have one and it took me forever.

I am not sure they want a screaming eagle shot, but they might. They are kind of sentimental. Heavens I don't know what they want.

But wanted to weigh in on those shots! I can see why they are your favorites! The action of the "fight". Did I win the wager with my bet on the one with the yellow beak?

Anyway, I would call them more Photojournalism and these more personality portraits or something great.

    Wonderful shots you have there.

Now, I expect to see these shots in the summer, too. OUr places are closed today or I would try to find the answers, too.

I cannot believe they are just all covered by folliage in the summer.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Thank you Ginger for the information, I will go to the web site to see what's going on. Yes you win the bet, and thanks again for the kind words.

    Sweet shots!
    That first one kicks *&^!!
If he had just been looking a tad your way it would be even better.
    But great as is.
So sharp and the color is spot on.

Thanks Zoomer, yes a little more look my way would have been better, but as you know we takes what we gets, and I like the pose he gave me. Another reason I liked this is because I posted it almost out of the camera. If I remember, just a tiny bit of sharpening, more out of habit than anything else.. The less PP, tells me I getting better at this each day, at least I hope so.
