Took this today while having coffee with a friend at the Ritz in Georgetown.
Nikon D100 24-120 VR

ISO 200
WB Incandescent -2
Handheld
Converted to BW with PS7

    Nicely done - nice symmetrical image and nice conversion.

    24-120 VR lens - You Nikon guys have all the neat lenses. Is that lens f3.5 throughout the zoom range? I just have to put up with my 24-7- f2.8 L and it's shorter zoom range I guess!

    I think you are right. I over corrected the arbitrary rotate by about .05 CCW. Good call.

    No its 3.5-5.6 but the VR give me about 2 stops. I couldnt live with out the VR. Canon has something similar---the IS.

    I am familiar with IS, I own several of them, but it does not come in 24mm wide to 120 long zoom umph.gif

    It is my everyday lens. The width, reach and speed are awesome. I combine the 24-120 VR with my 80-400 VR with great success. Next lens for me is the 12-24. Imagine this shot wide open at 12mm. All it takes is money and coincedently that is what I dont have.
