This bird posed and posed for us. Shot in RAW, converted in ACR and in PS CS2, just modest curves adjustment for contrast and color.

Canon 5D, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L I.S. with Canon 1.4x TC aboard, at 280mm. ISO 100, f/7.1 @1/320th second, +1/3ec.

    Even at 100% that pic rocksthumb.gif The detail in the full shot as far as the hawk but also the tree branch is amazing.
