Carolina Bald eagles are different

They are smaller than other eagles I see here!

Below is the crop to prove it is a bald eagle, tee tiny, but definitely bald!

I bet the rest of you have never seen an eagle, bald or otherwise, that small! We are soooo cool, here!

    Well, you got one. That's more than I can say. The only way we see them here is in cages at the zoo, or at some wildlife rehab center, and even then they're a rare find.

    Now, just hold a mouse in your hands and lure them down from the sky like Harry does for those closer shots of their eyeballs.

    I saw one like that yesterday. I don't think it was the same one. It was amazing... It was flying over the neighborhood as I was driving home from church. I almost crashed, keeping my eyes in the sky and not on the road. He/She was headed west away from the Columbia river by about a mile, as the "eagle flies." I've never seen anything like it before... Eagle over the city... Worst of it, I didn't have my camera with me.:cry
