What a great day Sunday was. Deb was doing a "Chick Flick" thing with her girlfriends, which meant I could do what ever I wanted to do for the day.
First order of business, grab the laptop, head to the cafe for some dark roast and free wi-fi.
Next order of business; go take pictures..
Driving through the valley and found a commotion by a cow pasture. There was a bald eagle munching on a calf carcass. I realize this may seem a bit morbid, but this is how nature works.
The eagle was in the distance. I shot this with my 20d, 70-200 f/2.8 and 2X teleconverter, which gave me 600mm (35mm equiv)
Cheers!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Is that a baldheaded steer too!?!
Nice capture.
BTW, I was that "tongue-in-cheek" guy that replied to your "read the manual" post on dpreview's canon forum.
