Got mine today 2nd hand wondering about a few things.

Small button far left of batt door on grip.....comes up even with casing but you can push it like a button.....what does it do???:scratch

Original batt door on camera hasta come off? Or is there a place to store it in grip?:scratch

My Son's Canon E50 grip has a cut out so you can leave the door on the camera and it sneeks down side of stem for grip. Thus it stays on the camera.

Ok stupid questions.....:rolleyes :D

there is a place to store the door inside on the grip. Hard to describe though... Its sits down next to the stalk that interfaces up into the battery compartment. there may be an outline of the batt door on it if you look close (mine did)

ah yes, that little guy. I did lots of tests on that little thing and came to this conclusion: it does absolutely nothing.

You guys are funny. Its for when you are using the AC adapter. The cord comes out that slot and you can close the main battery door.
