I can't make up my mind, the title would be Ruffled edge. [Or Rough edge]
sort of an oxymoron.
Any ideas appreciated, or which one do you like best? thanks!

Hi Linda,
So I finally see where all the old STF people hang out now .
I prefer #2 because I think it looks more balanced and I like the composition better.
Very nice job; looks like a photo I'd print out for my kitchen.
Take care.
Hows it going? I still use my little V1 for Infrared. And still hang in the canon forum there. Not as much posting as before. between the eyes, the arms and the bad neck, I don't flip around quite so much, lol:):
The only thing I didnt like about the second photo was it's focus was strange looking to me.
Thanks for your input, and glad to see you around.
your flowers are gorgeous - wonderful focus on the ruffled edges. I have to admit to you that when I think of flowers, roughness just doesn't come to mind, even though I see where you're going with the ruffled edge. That's just me tho. I too have found myself migrating to here from stf! I still check in there occassionally.

Thanks everyone for your input. Hi Tessa.
I decided they were too soft to be considered rough. You were right.
So I found this little guy outside and thought he'd fit the bill:
Now thats rough!
siamese lizard?

Bear
Never mind. I now see that it is manipulated.

I even showed someone at work - "hey check out this siamese lizard!" I've been had! Either you're good, or I'm naive. My hubby would say it's the latter...
great job making an eyecatching, interesting photo!

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.
Edward Steichen
He's pretty knarly, isn't he?
He's a baby lizard. Quite a contrast to those soft flowers, lollol
believe me, they don't grow them like that in California, although I bet they could, either by caustic pollution or cloning institutions,
Maybe I ought to start one of those crazy emails, add some fear factor....
Thanks for the comments. Yep, he's cloned....lol
