Snail's Pace

Getting some rain this evening, which brings out the snails. Thought I'd have some fun with one but you know what? THey don't move fast even to chase lasers!

    the fastest id ever move would be after a laser attack like that, snails are as tough as nails, nothing phases them i guess
    since the origin of matter is matter

    Well, the wimpy little 3-5mw laser I have (green pointers cost between $30 and $80 these days) isn't even good for a tickle. Now if I had one of those 300mw jobbies that cut through electrical tape and pop balloons, I could probably make a snail squirm with that! :beatwax
