In the past I ahve used the HP semi gloss premium paper and have been satisfied with the results. I use an Epson R200 printer (so I can print to CD's). While I am happy with the results, the paper is pretty pricey ($1/sheet),, is there a better solution that I should be using? I know the R200 ink goes quick and is really expensive but I want to be able to offer prints on location for people.

I've had good luck and like the results I get with Konica Minolta Paper.

A local discount store nearby carries the second best version which is the same thickness as the top of the line HP, Epson and Canon offerings.

It goes for about $8 for 15 sheets here in Hawaii. Should be cheaper in the mainland.

I like the papers from Red River - their Polar matte and Ultra Pro Satin. The Ultra Pro Satin is about $32 per 100 sheets.

They have ICC porfiles for their papers also:):
